Sundowner Flyfishing Adventures has partnered with Lanseria Country Estate since 2020. We are handling all the sport and fly fishing related activities (including fishing bookings). The two quaint dams have Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Large mouth bass, Blou kurper, carp (common & grass) and barbel.

From May to October we offer fly fishing only for trout. Experienced fly fishing guides on site in winter on Saturday and Sundays to lend a hand or host a fly fishing lesson.

From October to April we allow bass, specimen carp, float and fly fishing. Any trout caught on bass or carp equipment must be kept and either handed in at the restaurant or guests have the option of paying for them and taking them home. All other species are catch and release.

Within the estate, you will find our entertainment complex and our onsite restaurant @ThePlace2B, for all your dining, conferencing, teambuilding, weddings and party requirements. Nearby is a children’s playground, soccer field and farm animals. Enjoy a swim in the estate pool (residents only), or walk , run or cycle along one of our specially marked routes. Lanseria hosts the Lanseria Parkrun every Saturday morning from 8am.

All rooms are furnished and serviced daily, and come standard with commercial DSTV, king-size beds fitted with electric blankets (which can be converted to two single beds as required) and complimentary tea and coffee. Free WiFi (conditions apply). 

Self-Catering Units  – In addition to above, these are equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, pots & pans, cutlery and crockery.

Bed & Breakfast – Deluxe Standard, Luxury Standard and Economy Standard at Lanseria Country Estate offers on-suite rooms which are spacious, tastefully furnished and serviced daily. 

The estate has on onsite family restaurant @ThePlace2B, that offers a relaxed country atmosphere and South African-inspired homegrown fare. Room service is available on request. The venue is licensed.

Fly fishing clinic rates:

You may want to join one of our small group lesson or prefer a private individual lesson. Great for adults and kids (from 8yrs). Guests may continue fishing at leisure after the lesson. Price includes day fishing fee and voucher for food or drinks. It does not include rod hire or fly pack.

Corporate Fly fishing Team build rates:

This unique experience is fun and incorporates adult learning and communication skills. No prior skills required. It can be combined with a trout cook off.
